Despite painting for many years I never get tired of learning new ways of working or discovering new subjects to paint. My favourite subjects are figures and portraits, but I also enjoy painting wildlife, flowers and still life along with the occasional landscape. I'm inspired by colour and light and oils have always been my 'go to' paints, although currently I'm exploring the tricky world of watercolour. I'm also an avid sketcher and use just about anything to hand to capture whatever is in front of me.
