We need to collect some personal information from you in order to:

  1. Register you for Carshalton Artists events, including Carshalton Artists Open Studios (CAOS), and carry out the administrative duties necessary to run the event;

  2. Provide information on the Carshalton Artists website to enable visitors to find out about your art and to visit your location during the event.

We will never sell, rent or trade any of your information with a third party. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the UK Data Protection Act (1998) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2018).

Use of your information


When you register for a Carshalton Artists event, including CAOS, you consent to the collection and use of your information under the terms of this policy.


Your data may be shared with the following parties but will never be sold or supplied to another third party. Only the information they need to perform their services is provided and they are all fully compliant with UK Data Protection:


  1. Google. Your CAOS Registration data will be collected using a Google Form and securely stored on the Google Cloud. It can only be accessed by the Carshalton Artists Open Studios secure account. The information collected is used for event administration and for populating event information on the Carshalton Artists website.

  2. Wix. The Carshalton Artists website is hosted on Wix. Wix provide the online platform that allows us to publish and maintain this website.

Your data is stored through Wix and Google’s data storage and databases. They store your data on secure databases protected via a variety of industry- standard access controls. Secure passwords, SSL encryption, disk-based encryption, firewalls, and other measures are in place that helps them to protect your data. However, no company, including Wix or Google, can fully eliminate security risks associated with the transmission of personal information through online transactions, and you do so at your own risk.


CAOS event organisers may engage photographers and videographers to record the event for marketing purposes. Such images and video material recorded will be used in the marketing of future Carshalton Artists event by publication on the website and through social media online marketing.
