I started woodturning at school, nearly 50 years ago, but didn’t get my own workshop and lathe until January 2018. My aim is, wherever possible, to use locally sourced wood, often picked up as windfall or flotsam, or supplied by local tree surgeons. I produce hand turned wooden items, including bowls, plates and goblets. Some of the more ornamental, artistic pieces include exotic burrs and "natural edged" pieces, sometimes with the bark still on.
